In accordance with the Civil Code of Québec, the Bank Act and the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act, our team of professionals will guide you through the process of realizing on security. They may have recourse to foreclosure (taking in payment), selling under court supervision, selling by the creditor or taking of possession for the purpose of administration. We may also be of assistance should you wish to take further legal action, such as a lawsuit that would allow the hypothecary creditor to obtain judgment against the debtor and to carry out this judgment against all the debtor’s property.
