We also deal with litigation resulting from latent defects or construction defects in homes or commercial buildings. Expertise

Real estate law is his principal area of the practice of Mr. Chauvette. Most of his clients’ representations are made in the scope of commercial leases and landlord/tenant matters. He is also acting as a consultant in different projects, principally, in matters of municipal taxation, domain in which he has developed a particular expertise. He also practices civil and commercial litigation with regards to real estate assessment, expropriation and latent defects. Since 2002, he is the managing partner of our real estate department.

At an international level, his competences have served our African clientele, particularly in the matter of International Arbitration (CCI).
