Family Mediation

Family mediation is a non-judicial alternative means of conflict resolution available to couples that separate, whether they are married or not. With the intervention of an accredited and impartial mediator, the partners try to negotiate an equitable and viable agreement for all members of the family. The accredited mediators from our firm are part of a government program that allows parents of dependent children to benefit from three to six free mediation sessions. Even if couples without a dependent child are not eligible for this program, they may be interested in this means of conflict resolution. Our professionals also offer “out of program” services that allow partners’ needs to be met in an attempt to settle the consequences of their separation effectively.
