Qualifications

Having obtained his Law degree from Université Laval in 1977, Mr. Charles Morisset was called to the Québec Bar in 1978. He first started his career practising at Lemieux, Routhier, Gagnon, Beaupré law firm who merged with our firm in 1994 where he became a partner in the course of the same year and ultimately was named vice-president of our Quebec City firm in 2010.

Skills

Security law, banking law, bankruptcy and insolvency law as well as construction law, either at the civil or labour relation level are his principal fields of practice. He is representing before different tribunals, financial institutions, small and mid-sized companies as well as public
organizations. Since 1991, he is the managing partner of our Security and Insolvency Department.

Involvements

Mr. Morisset was a speaker at the Québec Bar Congress as well as a lecturer at l’École du Barreau du Québec. He is also a member of the Inspection Board as well as the Court Committee of the Québec Bar. Finally, he is a member of the Board of Directors of Caisse Desjardins de la Chaudière.
